If you've been hearing about PIN and want to learn more, or if you're a long-time supporter interested in an update, then this is the PIN event you won't want to miss.

Email Dallas.Stamper@pinministry.org to register for PIN's May 20th Open House, scheduled for 6:30-8:30 PM. We'll provide a casual dinner, introduce PIN's staff and volunteers, tell you all about the many services we provide, and share PIN's long- and short-term plans.

The highlight of the evening will be a tour of PIN's new offices, inside Beach Pentacostal Church at 503 15th Street in Virginia Beach. This location puts PIN physically closer to the people we serve, and its lower rent price saves us nearly $1,500/month!

Everyone is invited to come check it out and to learn more about PIN's work to help the homeless of Virginia Beach. The deadline to register is Friday, May 17th.

Students at Kemps Landing Magnet School donated six large boxes of hygiene supplies this month to PIN. This is such a great example of the community coming together to help neighbors in need. Today's the day we've been waiting for. Starting today, PIN is moving the contents of its office and warehouse to a new location, closer to the oceanfront. As of next Tuesday, 3/26, you'll find us working from our new space at 503 15th Street in Virginia Beach. We are so thankful for this opportunity to move closer to many of the people we serve!

Buy your 2012 Night of Comedy Tickets before October 2nd, and the price is just $45 per person or $400 for a table of ten. That's as low as $40 per seat for one of Hampton Roads' best evenings of entertainment all year. This November 2nd, PIN's Night of Comedy will feature nationally known comic and actor Brad Stine, who has been written-up in The New York Times, LA Times, Wall Street Journal and USA Today. Stine appears regularly on such popular shows as NBC's Nightly News, Glenn Beck, Hannity and Colmes, NPR's Fresh Air, and ABC's Nightline, and he has performed on HBO, Showtime, MTV and Comedy Central.
