Fall has
officially begun, and with it comes some exciting events for PIN. There is
still time to come out for a family fun day of table tennis that will help
the homeless. Also, our comedy night is scheduled for November 5, and you
should start reserving your seats because you don't want to miss this great
event. The concert season is officially done and we want to thank all of
our hard working volunteers that came out this year. Keep reading to learn
more about what is happening at PIN.

 On Friday,
November 5th PIN will be having our 8th Anniversary Comedy Night
Celebration at Grand Affairs in Virginia Beach. There are only 35 days left
to purchase tickets, so go online and purchase yours today! We are
expecting 500 people and seating is based on when you buy your tickets, so
those who purchase early will get better seats. Beattie Barnes, Rob
Reibold, and Richard Calvert will headline an excellent night of comedy.
All of these comedians are extremely funny and you are not going to want to
miss this night. Kerri Furey from WAVY 10 News will be back to MC the
night. Kerri is an awesome newscaster that is passionate about helping the
homeless.

When:
Friday Night November 5, 2010 at 6:30pm
Where:
Grand Affairs in Virginia Beach.
Cost:
$45 for an individual ticket or $400 for a table for 10 people.
The
price of your ticket includes: 3 great comedians, a great silent auction
with fantastic items, delicious food, and part of the money goes to help

 Ping Pong for
Poverty is happening tomorrow, October 1st and Saturday, October 2nd at
Corporate Landing Middle School. You can get details at www.pingpongforpoverty.com.

 One of the ways that PIN generates money
during our comedy night is through our silent auction. If you would like to
help by providing a silent auction item you can email Dallas Stamper at dallas.stamper@pinministry.org.
This is
a great way for a small group to help the homeless and have a great time
doing it. You can have your group put together a theme basket. Here are
some suggestions for theme baskets:
- Movie Basket (Movie tickets with popcorn and candy)
- Chocolate Basket (Assortment of chocolate items)
- Date Night Basket (Dinner gift certificate and
movie gift certificate)
- DVD Basket (Assorted DVD’s…. Action theme, comedy
theme, love theme)
- Spa Basket (lotions and comfort items)

October to cover our shortcomings in the budget.
