About us

We connect the
homeless to a
loving God

Mission

PiN Ministry exists to Connect people experiencing homelessness to a loving God who will Heal and Restore hope.

Helping
the homeless
through prayer

Value Statement

PiN values prayer and creative approaches to helping the homeless of Hampton Roads. We value relationships with Christ that build the body of believers. We value partnerships and unity that result in tangible, repeatable outcomes. We value accountability, which enhances our ability to minister to the people God has entrusted us with.

Vision Statement

PiN envisions former homeless people who are no longer bound by addictions and habits of their past. PiN is a Christ-based non-profit that believes Christian principles can lead individuals and families from dependency toward financial and personal independence. PiN envisions generational brokenness healed and lives changed by a God who loves and heals people completely.

Our Beliefs

What makes us different?

Serving

True greatness is achieved through serving others.

“Sitting down, Jesus called the Twelve and said, ‘If anyone wants to be first, he must be the very last, and the servant of all.’”

Mark 9:35 NIV

Sharing

We should be willing to share with people in need.

“Share with God’s people who are in need. Practice hospitality. Bless those who persecute you; bless and do not curse. Rejoice with those who rejoice; mourn with those who mourn. Live in harmony with one another. Do not be proud, but be willing to associate with people of low position. Do not be conceited.”

Romans 12:13-16

Showing

We should show God’s love through our actions.

“Dear children, let us not love with words or tongue, but with actions and in truth. This is how we know that we belong to the truth, and how we set our hearts at rest in his presence.”
