Last week, PiN Ministry proudly celebrated the graduation of our 13th ChangeMakers class — an inspiring group of individuals determined to rebuild their lives through hard work, commitment, and hope.
ChangeMakers is PiN’s signature five-week Workforce Development Program, designed to equip participants with essential tools like budgeting, computer literacy, communication, resume building, and job interview skills. The program also provides temporary housing, creating a stable foundation for participants to save money and prepare to transition into permanent housing within a few months.
Thanks to the incredible dedication of 28 volunteer instructors who shared their time and talents, this class left with more than just new skills—they gained a support system and a renewed sense of purpose. We’re already seeing the impact: within the first week after graduation, several graduates have started jobs at well-known employers like Amazon, Sentara, and Hyatt, while others are actively interviewing.
We’re deeply grateful to the many supporters, instructors, and community partners who make this transformation possible—including Holiday Inn Oceanfront for hosting the graduation ceremony.
If you or someone you know is interested in joining our next ChangeMakers class in October or would like to volunteer as a coach or instructor, we’d love to connect. Together, we’re changing lives—one job, one home, one person at a time.
